Make a Ascending Dawn channel and I shall start using it
btw.. anyone ever tried using vent when doing ml's? having 1 person from each group in vent for easy communication?

Ankh, were u trying to discribe a deadacated ventrilo server??.. like one PC runs the vent server while it sends... or do u mean while its runs it sends?.. i sppose its quite the same in thory.. but practicaly its not

i have to remove my version of vent to get onto the pryd.net vent server <sigh> i had all my things set up an all.. how dumb <shrug> ohwell

You can easily have multiple versions of Ventrilo installed, just keep them in seperate directories.
An alternative would be to use Ventmix which supposedly supports all versions of Ventrilo and TS2 as well.

yes, use ventrilomix 0.5 it supports all versions of ventrilo and TS

OK
Downloaded and installed Ventrilomix 0.5, but it doesnt seem to be compatible with Prydwen Vent server, I get a message saying server is running vent 2.1.2 and ventmix covers 2.1.4
Am I doing summat wrong? <thinks this the likely answer>

That's really odd. I just downloaded VentriloMIX 0.5 to test it, and using the "Ventrilo 2.1" button I was able to connect just fine.
