It's just another way from GOA to say they won't want customers.
True, concentrate the workload on accounts that are still opened but an even better way would have been to send an email later when the job is done and thus maybe get a few customers back that went elsewhere.

This mail is just a slap in the face. Personally I wouldn't bother to resubsribe with such ignorance for customers.

You dont pay you dont get service..dont see anything wrong with that.

That it took several months to get to it is a whole different discussion imo.

O and this is nothing new. These things happened immediatly after they started restoring

To restore items we need to be able to log your character in. We cannot log in characters if the account is closed and there is no realistic way for us to temporarily reopen a closed account - for security and other reasons, all such powers are confined to senior management.
When you notify us that your account has been reopened, your request goes back into it's original place in the queue and so it should be dealt with very shortly afterwards. It isn't a prioritising process nor a way for us to cut down on workload, simply a limitation of the tools available to us.

And while you typed this mini-essay Gandelf, Requiel explained the reason above and shows you are drawing completely wrong conclusions from your incorrect assumptions.
