they're actually going to look at bards? how far down the line do is this going to be?
I just like the EMP issue...
Sorry we screwed up from the start but can fix it or do anything to help even though we have been aware of the problem for 4 years.
Seriously several suggestions given and just slapped aside, whats wrong with say putting a lev 50 spell in or a free realm ability in to cover the mistake?

They stated that they balanced the class baring in mind their initial fault (underline mine sentence THEY ), that's y they ain't gonna do nothing about it.

Concerning bards, there have been claims that bards have been given other things over time to alleviate that issue. I can't put down what it is, but except for RA changes with NF, merged resist chants and added fletching, I can't recall many other changes to bards.
Someone will remember more about the changes to bards, so don't go postal when you find that bards have received more than your favourite <insert overlooked class>
The bard IS a solid class, good at its job of CC and AE interuptions, it has heals and basebuffs along with endprovider of the realm and main demezzer. On paper you have the perfect supportclass, and this makes for the opposition and developers to probably push back attention for this class till late in the all-class-review schedule.
I could imagine that Mythic also check the active bardpopulation now and then, and due to bards being one of the essential classes to a hib group, they see them being there in decent numbers and think: "Hey, apparently people think it's an ok class if it's played that much!"
<shrug> Let's see what Mythic ends out with.

Relic defences, ML10 + dragon raids etc, & the steadily decreasing number of arte encounters for which anis are still useful (lots have been specifically ani-nerfed). The number of active high-RR Anis is oh so overwhelming =/. There are good reasons for that.
Well you're judging entirely on Pryd/Excal cluster which is pretty silly seeing as that's about the smallest server/cluster there is now. Certainly elsewhere there's plenty of active high RR Animists, a quick check on CamelotSeer proved this, not suprisingly elsewhere Hib are also dominating seige/relics with Animists and Bainshees being the key to this.

The usual rubbish for animists. Except now, in response to our nuke wisps getting stuck in doors, they are saying "pets are not supposed to go through doors" whereas previously they said "Pathing issues are constantly being improved."
Just another fairly clear indication that Mythic aren't interested in Animists viability as anything other than shroom spammers.
Main problem that ppl don't realize is: they clearly moved their attention and dev funds to the next mmporg, WAR. So all "easy" changes can be delivered by the underdog dev team (consolidation team), all changes that would imply an heavy recoding of the game (if u check ALL tls reports it's quite clear) get a punch in the face.
