I didn't start 'til SI, so had to be at least SI or later...

Although I did enjoy ToA a lot, I do think it spoilt the game overall, due to affecting PvP too much, I haven't played much after that, it was already on a downward spiral.

I remember Banana's sentiment... I remember a level 42 Elven Champion (Valinor I think) in the Ashen Circle and me just staring at him in awe, and when Flamegecko took down 7 infiltrators dressed in red with his flame covered sword, when Basil was the best Nightshade we had and Revminster the Ranger, and Morrobainn the Eldritch... When Dair was level 23... People looked totally different, totally original. It was impossible to cap everything (there were rare and great items of course) so it made the game more dynamic in a lot of ways. I also remember RvRing in emain at level 8 and being killed by a Shadowblade called 'Thing' back when Assasins didnt lose stealth if they one shot PA'd hehe... I jumped out of my seat in surprise !

Zakoraya Wildcat, Blademaster of Severance.

Lingering on Uthgard, the last stronghold...

being chased through breifine by reamon trying to make it to the tower before he caught up with you...

and yes rvring in old emain was viable as a lv43 hero.... when heros gave up scale for reinforced armour as it was better...

I voted for Original + Darkness Falls because I loved Old Frontiers & going out to open DF & then the rush through to clear the other side, & also when another realm opened DF & we would form up at their entrance or a good ambush point for some great realm v. Realm action :)

I couldn't in all honesty vote SI because it introduced some seriously unbalanced classes & spread out the already thin populations over twice as many zones.

Housing destroyed the crafting community.

ToA turned RvR into Dark Age of Counterstrike with too many silly bonuses & too-optable suits. RvR becomes whoever has the best equipment with the most I-Win-buttons up wins.

NF was a lousy replacement for OF. Lousy unrealistic terrain like in a sandpit war. Way too many keeps & towers. Way too many exploitable loopholes. I really never liked anything about it at all. OF was better in every way. OF relic raids were awesome!

& every time they extended the RR cap they effectively made it more & more impossible for low-RR characters to reach a competetive RR, which made the game less & less fun as time went on.

Every add-on after NF was pretty much irrelevant by then IMO as the game was already in slow-death mode.
