Yeah as far as I know - he posted way back in the now infamous 'A Discussion' thread about having gone to see them at HQ and how much they cared about us and stuff. That they were there watching over us. Somehow they convinced him that paternalism is the best way to handle a community...

I wouldn't say it's so much them convincing him as his ego convincing himself. See it quite often in the MMO world, when players go to visit their Mecca they come out saying how great the company is, the problem is though that it usually seems to be more about them posting how big their e-peen is at getting to visit said company that it does about pushing an alternative view of the company half the time, little do they realise that it's always only ever them that actually cares about said company visit!

I do agree that his behaviour do seem very strange, he used to be a solid guy with the feet on the ground and now he's acting like a proper twat. Quite sad to see

Anyways, im just promoting Mythic among everyone I speak with when it comes to WAR. Is all I can do.

Just a comment, when I was in France, I found some of Req's behaviour quite odd tbh, Takit said alot of things that were right on FH imo about Requiel

Well the things I said were my opinions... I wouldnt go so far as to say they were right or wrong... just my perception of what was happening at the time and my experience from within the E&E team.

but it is nice for someone else to see some evidence about what I have said in the past... It lends some credance to what many others thought was inane ranting without any substance.
