Heya- Little bit of help regarding ywain

Postby Bourkey » Tue Jun 08, 2010 5:30 pm

Hey guys i am considering comming back and giving the US servers a try for a bit :)

I was wondering

!)If anybodys over there?

2) If So what versions of the game do I need? I bought up to the version after catabombs, cant remember name though. You used to be able to just run the ToA version if im correct though and you will be updated to a playable version on the download window?

3) How do i go about transfering characters?

If anybodys about and can help me with any of this, would be appreciated.

1) plenty of people there.

2) the client will update automatically and you should get access to full game. I think

3) /freexfer command when in game.

Cheers for the reply mate.

Just install the ToA version for now then? Don't need to install any earlier or the newer one (unless for graphics).

These sound like noob questions but I havn't played in absolutely years

Goota unhide the history ones and you need to reup your old login name with a _EU as suffix.

Give them a ring! Seriously it will be quite fast and US phone calls don't cost that much these days.

The _Eu part at the end did the job for me, for some reason this is not mentioned anywhere on the FAQs or guides ive read on the official site.

Anyway, its nice to be playing daoc a bit again, game seem pretty active as well =)
