Old EU Accounts

Postby Nikolas » Wed Nov 30, 2011 12:06 pm

Now then guys! I just found myself on the Daoc page puzzled about how I could even view my account details. It says old eu players can login to their accounts with _eu on the end?

I gave up trying to work it out after 10 minutes.. Any clues?

Just seen this post, there's a nice post on FH about it at http://forums.freddyshouse.com/threads/how-can-i-come-back-to-daoc-when-i-played-eu.241971/#post-3696061
You can not /freexfer chars from one account to the other. They stay on the same account.

The steps:

Reactivate your OLD accounts here:

https://accounts.eamythic.com/

Note: you need to add a _eu suffix to your account name, so if youre John smith and your account on EU was jsmith, then your login would be jsmith_eu.

Password is your OLD game password, NOT the account password.

When your Eu accounts are reactivated, log on to Excalibur or Prydwen (wherever your chars are), log on your chars and type /freexfer ywainX (X = the server you want. I´d recommend to not chose ywain1, because there´s no housing space).

It only takes a couple of minutes for your chars to appear on Ywain.

If you have a house, you need to pack it (if you want to keep it). Also, if youre running a guild, you need to do some extra steps. Read the camelotherald threads about that.

Hey Nik,

Nice to hear from you after so long! bjump:

Just in case you are ever wanting to play on Ywain, I think I may have moved the Sylvan Blades guild over already, but not 100% sure. You can now link DAoC accounts to a master EA account if you wish, makes things easier to remember. My ranger and bot ended up joined NFD on ywain, my old US accounts are in their US guild still. Will check the other toons I moved to see if they're in TSB.

I have a funny feeling that when I went onto the archived Pryd server last year I wasn't GM so someone must have still been logging in. Guild house was gone though.

Anyway maybe see you on Ywain one day :)

cheers!!

Nik, just to confirm. The guild was migrated to Ywain, but there was no guildhouse when I moved it. That must have gone sometime previous.

Contact me on here of you need anything.

There are quite a few Hib/Pryd guys around on different realms. I bumped into Typhoonie the other day, which was a nice surprise. Either way, these forums don't get checked much, but you'll find quite a few hib/pryd guys still checking freddyshouse quite a bit. Come and say hello on there!

Me and a friend moved to mid a few days ago on Ywain 4, aparently there is a alot or euro players over there. RvR dont realy take of before the euro horde moves in is what i`ve been told. /played 50 is less then 24 hrs.
ML`s and artis can be bought with BP so no need for the hrs of grinding.

Not as fun as daoc back at hib pryd, but still fun.

Seems like Jamies is on mid according to Freddys
