GOA Router - 14th Feb 2006

Post by Kesxex »

If anyone has lag issues then it is probably the router just before GOA.

Good way for France Telecom to show how professional they are with hosting services !

Would be so frustrating being GOA and having to rely on Opentransit. Guess it's as frustrating as going LD all the time. :p

I do find it odd that when i played classic a while back with 2500 people on it, there was no lag. When i went to Pryd then with 400 people on the lag wasn't playable.

Not sure, but maybe something went wrong with clustering 2 servers and someone should take a look at that.

Tonight it isn't OpenTransit, it appears to be a failure in our platform. We have techs looking into it as I speak however I have no details beyond this so I can't say how long it will take to fix. It may be sorted in the next few minutes or it may require new parts to be couriered in the morning.

arf, having to pull back the usual "OpenTransit router issues" excuse back from FH then :(

Have to say your job takes more hours than you get paid for, eh Requiel? Where do I sign up? :D
