WOW, I simply cannot believe so few ppl play any more thats made me feel sad

'twas a great game once ...

Anyone have a approx e.t.a on WAR? I was expecting sometime early in the new year (2009).

It just got pushed back to Fall 2008, as it was expected.

I'd rather see the game delayed than released with tons of bugs.

Oh crap. Start of the new uni term PLUS the release of WAR will not go down too well...it's going to be a bad year

I doubt bugs are the issue to be honest. If it's pushed back that much it more likely means "Players hate a certain portion of the game and we need to re-do it".

It's a different attitude really from Mythic, with their expansions in DAoC as we all know they released no matter how broken things were - ToA generally, Catacombs severely OP classes etc. It's nice to see they're taking the time to get things right either way this time!

Proberbly yes - but my point is that I'd rather see a good game than a flawed one
