Patch highlights (imho)

Here is a list of what i consider to be the highlights of the patch.


Guild System enhancements (merits,banners,dues,guild missions)

Merits can be used to get
  • Master Level Experience Bonus - 20%
  • Craft Haste Bonus - 5%
  • Artifact Experience Bonus - 5%
  • Realm Point Bonus - 2%
  • PvE Experience Bonus - 5%
Guild missions can be used to get
  • 2% bonus to all magical damage (24 hour)
  • 2% bonus to all melee damage (24 hour)
About banners
  • Each class archetype will summon a different banner with a different effect.
  • Banner effects will be restricted to group members and guild members of the banner's carrier. Group members will receive 50% of the designed bonus for the banner. Guild members within 1500 units will receive 100% of the designed bonus for the banner.
  • 10% bonus to all magic resistances. (stacks with other effects)
  • 6% bonus to all melee resistances. (stacks with other effects)
  • -6% reduction to the time effect of all Crowd Control.
  • 20% reduction in siege firing speed. (does NOT stack with Warlord)
Interface

Social Interface offering enhanced information on players, guilds and the realm


General mechanics
  • Single line respecs info here
  • Artifacts do not lose durability, but need to be repaired (merchant only) at inflated cost.
  • Using the mez feedback or stun feedback buff on Ceremonial Bracers and Gem of Lost Memories will no longer put the player in combat.
  • Shepherd Master Level experience will now be awarded anytime someone in your group completes a step for which you already have credit. For example, an ML2 player could not receive MLXP for Shepherding a player on an ML6 step, even if they had already completed the step.
  • Ressurection power loss now fixed in all situations.
  • Determination now more effective (L1:4%;L2:8%;L3:20%;L4:38%;L5:55%)
  • Secondary speed with sprint now slower than primary speed classes speed 5.
  • Players who are protecting, guarding, intercepting or bodyguarding someone will now see who they are performing the action for in the right click/tooltip.
  • You can now stand at your realms POC entrance without getting damaged
  • Players can purchase Oakenwood, Ironwood and Heartwood stacks pbps. Available from siege merchants outside of the border keeps. Repairs only!
  • Health and power regen increased at lower levels.
  • The penalty on power regeneration when power is below 50% has been removed.
  • Speed of Sound and Arms Length will no longer be fully stripped when a Speedwarp is encountered. Only the speed portion will drop when in warp AOE. The CC immunity portion will continue to affect chars in the SW AOE.
  • Melee snares will no longer be incorrectly applied to characters who have the Speed of Sound or Arms Length ability activated.
Class Specific
  • Eldies now get single targ disease for high mana spec (were forced to use aoe disease).
  • Turrets will now correctly scale when the Convoker ability, Summon Mastery, is used.
  • Enchanters enchantment line gives group damage buff (35:7.9dps;45:10dps)
  • Bards/Skalds single resist chants removed and replaced with Bod/Spi/En and Hea/Col/Mat chants (L27:8%BSE;L30:8%HCM;L46:16%BSE;L49:16%HCM)
  • Heros Spirit of the hunt reduced from 30min to 20min timer. [added by request]
Encounters/Misc
  • Kraken and Leviathan will no longer suffer defensive penalties when in combat with a large number of attackers.
  • Pets under the effect of the Kraken's ink cloud will tend to become confused and behave in irrational ways.
  • (Trial 1.8) The visible effect on the shark that possesses the ruby is much more pronounced.
  • The Skyros Dreadnaught will once again award Master Level experience.
  • NPCs in Hall of Heroes will allow a trade-in of Battler, Malice, Spear of Kings, Golden Spear, Traitor's Dagger, Croc Tooth Dagger and Bruiser for another version.

An important one for crafters is this:-

Alchemy and Spellcraft ingredients will now sell back to merchants at 95% of their cost (instead of 50%).

The penalty on power regeneration when power is below 50% has been removed.
This was a good idea, it meant that there was some skill in managing your mana during PVE. Now best plan is just to chain cast until OOM.

What about the spirit of the hunt cooldown going from 30 mins to 20, still think it should be 7 mins like on BM and zerker
