i looked into the scroll/itiems prices of Excal Hib today and .......surprisingly most of the itiems are cheaper there.
looks like the fear of price raising was wrong

tbh, it depends on SEVERAL factors.
What item is easily farmed.
What ML's are run the previous weeks.
How many ML runs there is.
How many money people have. (Prydwen players got more than Excal players.)
How much time, effort people put into PvE instead of RvR.
How much PL people do.
For instance, atm Hib/Excal players play set grp's and hardly run out 5-6 players or less. The bridges are camped by NS's/SB's/Infi's more than ever. Thursday evening I saw no less than 7 NS's and Rangers near Bold bridge... wtf is up with that?
You can't just draw a conclusion that Hib/Excal is cheaper by browsing the ME. Too many known and unknown factors play a role in the costprice of scrolls.

but the thing we feared , all prices will rise when cluster comes, isnt a fear anymore it has already happen because of server crash and now it seems because of the bigger market on excal the prices will go down already.
and its so---> bigger market > smaller market
but maybe all our hib peeps have so much money in deposite that they will effect the excal market....but dont think so , but for shure my first run in cluster will be to excal market

demand increase a lot here after the crash, and the people given money were able to buy things they found at reasonable prices.
Personally i still hold by my rule of not buying anything for more then 3pp but thats my view.
Looking forward to seeing what stuff they have on thier merchants and comparing them to ours.
But then one of the things i enjoy in this game is trading. <grin>

A friend of mine has been giving out about the prices on Pryd.
He didn't have any char stripped , so he doesn't have bundels of cash to burn.
Hence he's been struggeling in getting his Chanter toa'd.
I hope the prices do come down on our end before we merge, otherwise the prices will go the higher end rather than the lower end.

I think that what people are also forgetting here is the Darkness Rising Factor. We are due this expansion very soon and it will change quite a lot of stuff. Therefore as we draw closer to it then prices should in effect come down as demand on both servers will wane. Or at least that is my assumption. Artifacts and scrolls no longer bear the main stay of the market since Catacombs and even less so with DR inc.
AFAIK prices should continue to decrease as artifact worth and scroll worth becomes less important with the imminent arrival of new gear. If you add the fact that we have had to wait an 'aeon' for clustering with the problems we have had then when cluster there should be no reason for a significant price hike as what you and everyone else are selling is becoming increasingly insignificant.

Heres how it works:
Scrolls can drop randomly thus more people that farm = lower prices.
Artis/encounter drops etc. are on a timer. More people that need them = higher demand. If more people want an arti then they can't farm it more times because the timer cant be lessened.
